So yesterday was Elvis Aaron Presley's death day. In tribute, a few of us including my friend Scott got together and had an Elvis' death day dinner. We had fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches, cheeseburgers, french fries, banana pudding, frosted brownies (3x3 each), creamed onions, and macaroni with extra velveeta cheese. We also took turns reading the infamous Hamburger James story. Nothing like old, fat Elvis, and greasy food. I'm glad I rode my bike yesterday..... Hamburger James' Las Vegas ID Random Elvis Trivia: He liked to fill his swimming pool with lightbulbs and shoot them. He would shoot his TV screen whenever Robert Goulet would come on. He didn't like performing oral sex on women. He liked to climax in a woman's hair. He liked to use baby talk: he called feet "sooties" and ice cream "iddy-tream". Members of his Memphis Mafia would fill his pills with sugar, in an attempt to get him unaddicted. He would carve bit of flesh out of his feet, saying "I oughta get some good stuff for this". At the time of his death, his colon weighed around 30lbs. Doctors had to smash out Elvis' teeth in order to force a breathing tube down his throat. A young Elvis once saw his aunt dancing on a table, an exclaimed "Oh my peter!". Current Music: St. Etienne - Goodnight

This Saturday I rode 30.6 miles in my second training ride of the season. To say I was tired that evening would be an understatement. 30.6 miles is hard when you're not in shape, BUT my butt was definatly not as sore as last week. So, that's a plus. That evening Kristy and I went to Baltimore to celebrate my friend Reba's birthday. We met up with Scott and Steph and Rob who was visiting from Philly at Becca's "new" apartment. Her walls are almost the same color as my bedroom walls. This green that isn't TOO much, and really brings out the colors in wood. We carpooled into B-more and arrived at the Tapas restaurant, Pazo , where we spent a ton, ate a lot, and had a really good time. My favorites were the sangria , the asparagus, and the venison. MMM! And they had complimentary valet parking! Everyone had a great time, including Megan (she used to be in Doubletake back in the day w/ Becca) and Dave, this guy I don't know at all and was the youngest of the group. We then hit up an "irish bar" which was really just a college bar in every sense of that phrase. Megan's husband showed up, and we all hung out for a while, but by 10:45, I was gettign seriously tired and Kristy and I still had to drive an hour to get home. All in all a good evening! It was good to see Rob and Megan, and to hang out for Becca's birthday. I think she had a good time, as she got wasted pretty quickly. Found a funny acoustic song about how hard it is to be an evil overlord. Good instrumentation. Remeniscent of Steven Lynch. Skullcrusher Mountain Current Music: Some classical thing
